We wanted something that was fast, opinionated about design, and genuinely free for the majority of users who just need a solid resume to apply for their next job.

Our story
ClaudeCV grew out of a simple frustration: existing resume builders either buried good templates behind an aggressive paywall, or exported PDFs that broke when they went through half the ATS systems we tested them against. We rebuilt the whole pipeline — live preview, auto-save, export — from scratch, and tested every template against real parsers before shipping it, rather than just checking that it looked good on screen.
That testing habit stuck. Every template you see on ClaudeCV has been checked against common ATS parsing patterns — clean heading order, no text buried in images, no multi-column layouts that scramble when converted to plain text. Design and parseability were treated as equally non-negotiable from day one, not as a trade-off you have to choose between.
Our approach to design
Most resume builders make you choose between "looks professional" and "gets parsed correctly." We don't think that's a real trade-off — it's a design constraint that's easy to ignore if you don't test against actual ATS software, which is exactly what most template libraries skip. Every layout on ClaudeCV starts from a semantic HTML structure first, then gets styled — never the other way around.
How we think about pricing
The Free plan is deliberately capable, not a demo. You can build, preview, and export a real resume without paying anything or handing over a credit card. Paid plans exist to fund development and remove friction (more templates, more saved resumes, no watermark) for people who are actively job-hunting and want more flexibility — not to gate basic functionality behind a paywall.
Privacy, in plain terms
Resumes contain sensitive personal and career information, and we treat that seriously. We don't sell your data, we don't use your resume content to train any model, and you can delete your account and associated data at any time. Full details live on our Privacy Policy page.
