How this ATS checker works

An Applicant Tracking System (ATS) scans your resume and compares it against the job description before a recruiter ever opens it. This tool mimics that first pass: it pulls out the important keywords and phrases from the job description, checks whether your resume actually contains them, and combines that with a quick check of resume fundamentals — contact info, section headings, action verbs, and quantified achievements.

A higher score means your resume is more likely to surface near the top of a keyword-based search or filter. It's a guide, not a guarantee — always tailor your resume honestly to each role rather than stuffing in keywords you can't back up in an interview.
