What we collect

• Account data: name, email, hashed password.
• Resume data: the content you enter in the builder — stored only to render your resume back to you.
• Usage data: pages viewed, referrer, IP, browser — used to improve the product and detect abuse.
• Payment data: handled by our payment processors (Stripe / Razorpay). We never see full card numbers.

What we do NOT do

• Sell your data to third parties.
• Train AI models on your resume content.
• Share your resume publicly unless you explicitly enable a share link.

Cookies & Analytics

We use first-party cookies for login sessions. We use Google Analytics and Google AdSense on content pages (blog, examples, cover letters) — these set their own cookies for measurement & ad personalization. You can opt out via Google Ad Settings.

Data retention & deletion

Your account and all associated resumes are retained until you delete them. Deletion is immediate and permanent from our production database. Backups are purged within 30 days.

Your rights

You can request a full data export, correction, or deletion at any time by emailing privacy@ClaudeCV.local. We comply with GDPR and India's DPDP Act, 2023.

Children

ClaudeCV is not intended for users under 16. If we learn we've collected data from a minor, we'll delete it.
